2 Stars Out Of 5
a consrevative, but not Christian film
January 5, 2015
although it is a somewhat heart warming story, I would have to disagree with the other five star ratings. it is a made for TV film re-marketed on DVD, there were three profanities and the main character shows kids how to make 'hobo stew' with beer. also, the plot is not exactly morally foundational. although it shows reconciliation and forgiveness, it also has a main character that left his wife and son behind to become a carefree hobo, because his traveling salesman job didn't work out. so he went on the road and sent them money, instead of staying with them or bringing them with him while finding a way to raise his son that very much needed him. the son forgives, but the dad was a 'deadbeat', he deserved the anger. kind of a disappointing film.
