I highly recommend this book as well as the whole series because as we seek to learn and grow about the power of prayer, sometimes we don't know how to put our questions into words and Stormie addresses some of the most common issues in marriage by category and then gives us words to speak to our Lord. I refer back to mine often and I was so blessed by my husband as he read through the chapters. He took such an importance for praying over me from this book! It gave us both another tool to fight our Enemy as he tries to thwart our lives and marriage. Don't miss out on this important tool!

I truly believe the Lord saved my marriage, by starting with my own heart. While reading Stormie's book and completing the Study Guide exercises, miraculous changes began to happen. I recommend it for all men who desire to love their wives, God's way.

Hey everyone, I have been married for more than 33 years and my wife and I have been Christian for over 25 years. However, as you know every marriage goes through its fiery trials. Well our marriage was put through one its most severe test this past year and into 2009. I had been praying and asking God what I needed to do as a husband to help our marriage get untracked. It was then that one of my grown daughters who has been married for just 5 years suggested this book "The Power of a Praying Husband". She recommended it because she was going through some challenges with her husband and bought the book, "The Power of a Praying Wife." I have since purchased the book and its study guide. I have been applying it for about 2 weeks now and I have to say, that I am the one that is being changed more than my wife. This book is filled with practical things that you can do as a husband along with praying and reading your bible that really works. But be careful because its not about changing your wife as much as it is changing you into better understanding your spouse. As 1 Peter 3:7 Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered. NKJV I strongly recommend this book regardless of how long you have been married.

This is an excellent book to improve your way of praying. Stormie writes in such a way you understand the topics. The book was so good I wasn't able to put it down. This is the second book from Stormie that I have read. But she doesn't disappoint in the presentation of her ideas and views. I would definetly recommend. I actually purchased Power of a Praying Wife for my special love of my life.

The prayers at the end of each chapter are absolutely incredible. Each prayer addresses a special need in her life. A must read if you are married!

This is good book. It has really helped me to realize how I need to pray for my wife and for a guy who does not know how to put some of the things into words it was great help there too.
