Her two new songs, “Sunrise” and “Finally Free,” are no different. Raising the popular “time machine” question in lead single “Sunrise,” Nordeman asks herself if she could go back and make her life easier, would she? She answers with, “How would I know the morning if I knew
not midnight?” Melodically, the minor,
whispering chords follow the verses, until the mood dramatically builds instrumentally and vocally into a major key, as Nordeman proclaims God as maker of new beginnings—“You are sunrise.”
“Finally Free,” the new theme song for Women of Faith, quietly consoles the soul imprisoned in doubt with a ballad that centers on the John 8:36 promise of new freedom in Christ. “Let the chains fall away starting today/Everything has changed/I’m finally free.”

The song 'Every Season' on the CD is amazing. God was most definitely working through her talent in music to comfort and encourage others. This song helped my husband and I through the loss of a friend in Iraq. Sometimes it's not just the tapestry of the song's construction, it's the way in which His Spirit is weaving through the music into the tapestry of our hearts. Way to go Nichole for listenin' to God's heart, 'cause He most definitely touched ours! God Bless!

I believe that Ms. Nordeman's perfect voice and exquisite lyrics are divinely inspired. I especially love her unabashed worship of and devotion to Our LORD and Savior, and the songs that address real-life issues and emotions. You will not be disappointed by this C.D., or anyone that Nicole has recorded!

I bought this CD for myself and three friends. We all love it! As for me, I love Nichole's ability to speak to the heart with her lyrics. I especially enjoyed her new songs.
