Chris Tomlin is awesome. Passionate and worshipful all in one. My faves are "Forever" "America" and "The Wonderful Cross." To be honest, if you're like me, you'll kinda say "that wasn't bad" about the other songs on the CD. The ones that'll be on repeat in your CD player will be these three tracks--but if these are the only ones you play, OK. Because they're some of the most powerful songs I've ever heard. I just have one tip: play "The wonderful cross" and "america" really L O U D. When playing "wonderful cross" you'll be enveloped in Matt Redman's sacred whisperings of "when I survey the wondrous cross on which the king of glory died, my richest gain I count but loss and pour contempt on all my pride" in such a sacred way it just about gives me chills singing along. When playing "america" you'll blow the devil outta this country with the heavy metal of the solid Rock, Jesus Christ, whose "glory will FLY."

Chris Tomlin has only released two CDs thus far and already he has become one of my favorites. 'Forever' and 'Kindness' are my favorite tracks on this one. He definitely is on his way to becoming very popular with contemporary christian music listeners. I expect, that the Lord willing, he will receive several Dove Awards in the coming years. He gets my vote.

I got to Chris Tomlin at a Delirious concert yesterday, and he is one very wonderful song leader that continually keeps your focus on God. I really enjoyed his songs and hope you will also!

I do not have a copy of the re-release of Tomlins last project, The Noise We Make, but have heard most of the songs from it at the OneDay2000 event in Memphis, TN. Chris is an awesome worship leader who will usher you into God's presence through song.
