Product Description

Falling Up continues to grow and expand upon their sound with Fangs, the group's fourth proper studio album and sixth overall release. With an aggressive mixture of instruments and electronics, the quintet's progressive leanings shine through on "Streams of Woe at Acheron," "Golden Arrows," "Goddess of the Dayspring, Am I," and more.

I totally agree. You guys are being too hard on Falling Up. Yes, Fangs is different from Crashings and Dawn Escapes, but I enjoy it. It was because of the previous reviews i read that made me think i wouldn't like this CD at all, but I was wrong. It's an awesome album with creative lyrics and harmonies. If you are wondering if you should or shouldn't buy this album, I can't stop you from making you're move. It's your choice. If you like Falling Up then you have every right to buy this album. Nobody is stoping you. As for the writers of the majority of the previous reviews, stop being so hard on Falling Up! It's their music. God has gifted these guys to produce a unique rock & roll sound.

I agree. I read the previous reviews and wasn't sure what to think of this album. I was afraid that i would hate it. But actually i think it's a rather good album with creative lyrics and tunes. It is different from their previous work on Crashings and Dawn Escapes, but I don't let that get in the way of me listening to it. Quit being so hard on Falling Up for being different! If you're wondering if you should buy this album or not, i can't make you buy it or not. It's YOU'RE decision. Don't let what others say decide for you. If you like Falling Up you have every right to purchase this CD.

The above reviews seem quite judgmental. I don't see how it is any of your place to call Falling Up Christian or non-christian, or to sling accusations of substance abuse upon these progressive music makers. If you do not like their music, don't listen. However, to question their devotion is absurd. Musically, this is quite a tour de force, bringing in musical inspirations from not only the Rock world, but from the Ambient and Prog world. The language is flowery and poetic yes, but is that inherently evil? I suppose subtlety isn't spoken here on this website... If you prefer straight-forward, no-thought required worship songs, listen to label-mate Jeremy Camp, and do not bash these fellows who dare to branch out in their musical realm. Mr. Ribordy, Mr. Shroy, Mr. Miller, Mr. Cresenzo, I applaud this work, and thank you for daring to break from the restrictive, vile world of the Christian Music Industry. I only hope you remain on this track, to keep bringing us the pleasure of listening...

YUCK!!! What happened to these guys!?!?!?!? It seems when Kisselberg left the band, I fell into chaos! I did not like Captiva very much, but this is a BILLION times worse. I guess its time to say good buy to Falling Up. I don't even think they are christian anymore. =(

Man, what the heck happened to Falling Up? I think I understand why they named their remix album "Exit Lights". It basially was a farewell to ther previously AWESOME stye. DO NOT BUY THIS ALBUM!!!! I agree with the others, Falling Up is not christian anymore. I hate the path they are taking, and I will no longer support them until they come back to their original style, and to God. From here on out, I am no longer a Falling Up fan. Anyone know how to email them? They could use some lessons in "How To Make Great Music 101".

This cd is terrible. Whenever I listen to Falling Up's older music, I weep over the fact that their music is so lame now. WHAT IS GOING ON IN MR. RIBORDY'S HEAD? This cd is so confusing and nonsensical I sit and wonder if Jesse used "substances" to get inspiration for the lyrics. I pray, dear Lord, he did not. DO NOT EVER BUY THIS! LISTEN TO A FRIEND'S...actually...DON'T WASTE TIME LISTENING TO YOUR FRIEND'S "FANGS" CD.

I completely agree with the other reviewers. I once saw Falling Up in concert and completely fell in love with their music. I recently bought the new cd, expecting some great music. I would venture to say that Falling Up is now a secular group and I am incredibly disappointed in them. I hope that they will be convicted of this and return to Christian music.

This "concept album" is terribly boring and is nonsensical. The only decent song with any melody is the top 10 "Streams of Woe at Acheron." They get lamer with every album. I saw them in concert last year and they were good. What are they Thinking?
