Beginning his career at St. Louis' Morning Star Church, singer, songwriter, and worship leader Mark Roach offers his national debut for Myrrh Records, Every Reason Why. This refreshing collection of praise and worship originals carries Mark's catchy melodies, honest lyrics and expressive voice directly to the modern congregation.
The first strains of Mark Roach’s latest album, Every Reason Why, sound strangely…familiar. From track one, his easy melodies and accessible lyrics are comfortable, enjoyable…but not incredibly original. Without question, he’s got a voice. But by track five, you just might be thinking, “Haven’t I heard this one already?” That’s not to say that there aren’t good things about this album and the work that went into it. Producer Nathan Nockels (Watermark, Passion) delivers his usual smooth, likable touch on every recording.
The album starts strong. “1,000 Hallelujahs” delivers an unexpected rhythm pattern before leading into a chorus that pleasantly takes a right turn with its energetic lyrics and interesting beat. His invitation to “Dance with me/Sing with me, Oh Lord and I will sing 1000 Hallelujahs” is a fairly fresh approach to worship of God, with God. Meanwhile, kudos to Roach and Nockels are in order for bringing a fresh twist to the classic “It is Well,” which is set apart primarily by its actual production approach.
In all, Mark Roach is a top-notch worship leader. Spot on vocals and delivery, consistent melodies and conventional messages make him a natural for any church service or youth event. As an artist, he still has a way to go on defining and then refining his own style.

This cd is full of powerful spiritual songs that uplifts your spirits.I loved all the songs and listen to the cd when I am meditating on the Word of God. I high recommend buying this cd!

This is an awesome CD and has become a fixture in the cd player of my car and is always a favorite at get-togethers. Not only is his music uplifting, it is great to listen to. Mark also is a great person with a great heart for God!!

I love this cd! I was given it as a gift from a gentleman who belongs to Marks congregation. I have to tell you, this has been a healing in process. This is some deep worship music. It has really been powerful in my life. I am planning on giving several of these cd's as gifts. And a gift it surely is!!!! God is awesome :)

Catchy melodies and lyrics that draw me deeper into a state of worship. Mark's debut is serving its purpose - moving believers into heartfelt praise of our Savior. You won't be disappointed.
