I am a huge fan of Fernando Ortega anyhow but this is, by far, the best Christmas album ever. His versions of O Little Town of Bethlehem and Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus are truly beautiful, very peaceful. The whole album brings a deep reverence to Christmas. It is the only Christmas album I own that I listen to all year long.

This is one of the best Christmas CDs around. I have enjoyed Fernando's music for many years. As soon as I learned that he had done a Christmas record, I bought it--no questions asked ! I was not disappointed. The music and arrangements are excellent. There are a couple of familiar songs that I wouldn't have expected to be on a Christams CD---"Let All the Earth Keep Silence" and "Jesus King of Angels"---but the more I think about it, I think they were good additions.

Beautiful!!! Original in the arrangements, one of a kind and simply the best Christmas album/CD I have ever purchased. I love Christmas music and get one or two new ones every year so I thinks thin this says a lot.

This is a wonderful Christmas cd to add to any collection! I really like the way he redid some of the old classics and made you feel like you were hearing it for the first time. I was just a little disappointed to receive the cd in a cardboard sleeve rather than a plastic case. I still give it 5 stars!

I love Fernando Ortega's interpretations of these timeless Christmas songs (and new ones). His gentle, introspective approach is obviously inspired by the Holy Spirit--very refreshing and awe-inspiring to the listener. I am so sick of the "7-11" praise/worship songs that hit you over the head w/repetitive over-blown electric guitars and "enough already" lyrics. These have depth, substance and the breath from Heaven this poor, hurting world desperately needs. Thank-you Fernando for taking the time to meticulously glorify God with the gift He gave YOU. Just what I have come to expect from Fernando Ortega: great christian music with distinct character! The paper CD cover is kind of a bummer though.

I love Fernado's music but perhaps I have become too saturated with it, because parts of this CD were repeats that I have heard on his other CDs. If I'd never heard them before then this CD might have excited me more, but for me spending money on a new CD, it left me a little disappointed. That said, it is still good music and good message - as his always is.
