Small book filled with practical information
A wonderfully useful book for family members whether or not the primary caregiver. This book helps to focus on what is precious and valuable in life in the midst of caring for each other. The 14 appendix lists of info alone are worth the cost of the book.

The book has great insight
Caregiving is a difficult task. This book gives insight into how to deal with fellings, emotions, circumstances - just about anything you will face. And it does it through grace that is so amazing and so divine it cannot be measured.

This book is well-named. It gives hope and encouragement to the caregiver, as well as practical help - names, addresses and phone numbers for a number of caregiver needs. It contains many helpful suggestions for coping with the ongoing needs of one needing constant care. I will buy this book often as a gift for a struggling caregiver.

Shelly Beach deftly uses humor and personal stories of the heart to bring bucket loads of grace to such a difficult area--caring for aging parents. Having both been called upon in the past to help our parents, we wish we would have "Ambushed by Grace" sooner. It is filled with a loving touch and we highly recommend it, not only to those who are current caregivers, but also to anyone who has parents! Thank you, Shelly, for sharing so beautifully.
