I purchased a copy of the Christian Liberty Press edition of this book to accompany our Beautiful Feet Early American History study.
Overall I was disappointed with the book.
Christian Liberty Press has "rewritten" Margaret Pumphrey's classic story to make it sanitary in order to reflect the beliefs of the Reformed Church/Christian Liberty School.
Yes, bad things have happened in history, but we must keep history accurate by sticking to the facts, not reading someone's interpretation of how they view it.
In the end I returned my copy to Christian Liberty Press and ordered a reprint of the original classic from Yesterday's Classic book company.

My 8 year old and I both loved this book. A major improvement over boring history textbooks! The comprehension questions and vocabulary words at the end of each story are a good idea, too.
