I really thought that this book would only reiterate what I had read previously in the many other books on dieting and food addiction that I have read. I was wrong. It gave me several new perspectives on why I have chosen food to numb myself. Speaking also from the perspective of a woman whose marriage was destroyed by sex addiction... it helped me see my ex-husband in a different light as well. I recommend this book to anyone struggling or affected by the issues of addiction.
