" Father, make me a person of prayer. Fervent, boiling, deep-soul prayer. If what Will Davis says is your desire, then read this book--it just might change your life forever. Maybe for the first time you will understand that the love waiting for you is like no other--a love that is fulfilling, a result of doing intercessory prayer for yourself." He is the real deal, and his tools in this book are the reason." Jeff Young, minister of spiritual development, Prestonwood Baptist Church

Reviewed by Cindy Loven (Glenwood AR), September 26, 2009 Do you pray for yourself? Does it feel odd to you to even think about praying for yourself? Do you feel selfish at the very idea of praying for yourself?
Will Davis Jr, author of the Pray Big books, has brought us a book to teach us how to pray for ourselves with reckless abandon. After all who better, know our needs and how to pray for us? Praying with reckless abandon, made me at first think of wild passionate prayers, you know like the effectual ferverent prayer of a righteous man, kind of prayer.
Pastor Davis is a great author, who has a writing style that flows easily and is easy to read. His "pinpoint prayers" alone can change a Christian's life when applied in their everyday life.
A favorite for me, was the chapters he discussed Fueling the Fire, where he discussed learning the Bible, applying it to your life, fasting, spiritual breathing and worship. (Surprise a worship leader enjoyed that part best)
Most definitely a book to keep and refer back to. Reflection questions at the end of the book drive home the message of the book. Write a review of Faith Set Free: Pray for Yourself with Reckless Abandon
