For more than three centuries, the writings of Brother Lawrence have taught Christians that God is as present in the kitchen as in the cathedral and as accessible in the living room as He is around the Lord's table. This simple, yet profound teaching will empower you to seek the joy of God's presence in the midst of every moment and circumstance. Sensitively revised in modern English, this edition includes a color timeline and a biography of Lawrence complete with black-and-white illustrations.

I have read this book every time I get away from His presence and bought extra books for my friends who needed it, and I think this book has had more influence over my life by anything that has been written. Otherwise I have been influenced by teachers and pastors, but there is nothing so good as this one little book. I re-read it many times when in time of need of God again, guess I didn't keep him with me at all times. So easy to forget....well then just re=read the book.
