This is the perfect advent book for a growing family. Now that we have children, my husband and I looked for ways to start our own family traditions. This devotional is great whether you have little children or older children. We liked that our whole family studies the same passage of scripture. Also, adding our ornament to the "Jesse tree" every evening provides great family bonding and memories.
