Very well written! Easy to read with great truth! I would rate this book a must read for those that feel they are struggling because the God they knew turned into religion.

This book is written intentionally in very plain acceptable language the way to salvation thru a very common man. After I had listen to People to people's depression tapes I was born again and after reading Classic I realized I had been born again. My life heart and marriage has been changed. I rate this book as excellent and a must read.

This is a book that ALL Christians should read. Excellent and true to the Scriptures. So sad that so many Christians are living a life through a half gospel.

This book is an excellent read. Clarifying another review; BG does NOT claim that Christians should not CONFESS our sins (as per I John 1:9), but rather, don't ask God to forgive. Through Christ's one time act, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting our sins against us. This book recounts with remarkable clarity exactly what Grace is. Quick read-in-a-day book with results that can last a lifetime.

Transforming and mind renewing: if ever there was a book that could actually change one's total outlook on their relationship with God, this is it. Easy to read, interesting, and not manipulative, is the way I'd describe what Bob George has written. This book paints the complete canvas of what God intended for all people to fully grasp or understand about him and his relentless pursuit of us. I'm sure this book will inspire, edify and free you if your mind is open to receiving the truth which is plainly written in God's word. You will see how your relationship with Jesus is relevant and vital for living today. Rather than trying to prove a thesis from scripture, Bob essentially takes an inductive approach to articulately help us understand the complete message of the Good News, and good news it truly is.

Best book on explaining how God can love us just as we are (sinners), and the free gift of salvation and marked with the Holy Spirit you convicts, teaches and changes us inside out. Thats true freedom. Looking for Classic Christianity for Teens. Gave my last copy away. YIKES!!!

At first this book was recommended to me so I could help a friend! Funny, it ended up helping me! I FINALLY understand what grace is now! I knew what it was, but am now experiencing it daily! This book did so much for me and even inspired a few songs on my debut cd. I always keeps a few copies on hand to give to friends who feel that they "aren't good enough"! It is a great book for non-Christians, new Christians and those who have been on a long journey as a Christian. It is a great book to read periodically to keep you focused what it is all about. In order, The Bible, Classic Christianity and Purpose Driven Life are the 3 books that have most shaped my life! You've got to read it at least once!!!!
