Ithought that the NIV bible would be the full bible not just the new testiment.

The 2008 edition of this program made a major change which was initially disturbing. I had received additional books through the Ephesians Four Group, and was able to add them to the books that come with this program -- until the 2008 edition. There is a work-around but it is obvious that the publishers would prefer that you add books only through them and no one else.
Otherwise, I really like this program because of it's flexibility. You do not have to settle for the way they organize their books, but you can impose your own organization. The books that come with the program are really wonderful.
With the 2007 and 2008 editions of this program they added some bells and whistles which may or may not appeal to you. You apparently can add .pdf (Adobe Acrobat Reader) files. This is nice if you have some files which you need as part of your research.
Because of their attitude about adding books I have not given this software a good star rating.

Excellent Product. If you want to read or do research on the Bible, I personally use it to write short article on Bible subjects. Used the old quick verse and now the have the 2008 with much more information.. Good buy.

Biblesoft's PC Study Bilbe has a friendlier user interface. I find Quickverse navigation somewhat cumbersome.

Great product. We had no problems loading onto our laptop with windows vista. Nice not to have all the different individual books.

Thus far, I cannot get the product installed on my Windows Vista powered notebook computer. I'm very disappointed. Quick Verse email customer service has had over a week to respond and I've had no contact. They have no toll free line for service. Eventually, I'll find out why the product won't install but it isn't as easy as it should be.
