This is a great book that will uplift and encourage you daily with your walk with the Lord. The format is written in one or two page chapters that are quick to read, but you want to read it slowly to truly get all the pearls of wisdom. I highly recommend it to anyone who has ever read Elizabeth Elliot and for those who are reading her for the first time. You will be blessed either way.

I give this book 5 stars because it has blessed me every time I pick it up. I keep a copy beside my bed and try to read one article each day. She always seems to speak to my particular struggles at the moment I need to hear a stable voice. A mentor gave me this book years ago because she knew I was always moving "too fast" and often missed God's message and blessing and this book helps me keep my heart quiet before the Lord. Great book--my favorite gift to give.
