Publisher's Description

Biblical womanhood is not for the weak. In an age that seeks to obliterate God and His authority, modeling biblical womanhood involves spiritual warfare. Radical Womanhood seeks to equip new believers and long-time Christians alike, exposing the anti-God agenda of the three waves of feminism to date and presenting the pro-woman truth of the Scriptures. Illustrated with numerous personal testimonies, this book will dig deep into the Word and show how it can be lived out today. The foundation and core message of Radical Womanhood is consistent with the traditional complementarian teaching on biblical womanhood. However, the target audience, tone, and style are radically different. Most books on this subject take a heavily didactic tone that assumes an awareness of Christian lingo and a high degree of spiritual maturity. Radical Womanhood has the narrative approach appreciated by postmodern readers, but still incorporates solid, biblically-based teaching for personal application and growth.

Knowing that the author considered her self a recovering feminist I was eager to begin the book. From page one I was hooked. She covers difficult and controversial material very seriously while maintaining a level of readability for any woman. In my opinion she takes on many opponents in presenting the material contained in Radical Womanhood, but even more than that she does it as a single woman! This I found refreshing and captivating. As she states fact, quotes scripture and offers suggestions, she does so in a very straightforward and yet non threatening manner. She practices humility and grace. As a mother of three and a grandmother of two I have oft been offended by the “advice” and commentary of single women. Not so with Carolyn McCulley she is candid and transparent. Never once does she try to act as if she “has been there” in any way other than as a friend, helper, and counselor. This humility is charming and engaging, encouraging you to read more. From Dented Femininity to Feminine Faith she leads you on a journey from the self centered arrogance of a young college woman who has “all the answers” and offends others with this knowledge. To a disillusioned feminist who can’t see that her “feminist identity” has achieved anything other than a growing dislike of men. After all “Men are Scum

Written with the godly woman in mind. This book/study is tailor-made for those women who desire a genuine understanding of God's design for REAL WOMEN. Used this as a women's study with tremendous applause.
