Preaching Professor Greg Heisler believes that the resurgence in expository preaching will not be complete until the role of the Holy Spirit receives the same emphasis as the text of Scripture. Without that balance, exposition will lack freshness and sustenance.

Dr. Greg Heisler earned a Ph D from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served as a senior pastor at churches in Kentucky and Florida.
