My husband bought the Nativity Advent Calendar for our now 19 year old daughter when she was 3 or so. We still put it out each year. It is now a cherished tradition that she will continue one day when she has a family of her own.

I have given the calendar to each of my children's families for the oldest child's first Christmas. It has become an annual tradition that the children love. They move the pieces around and act out the Christmas story as they learn about the true meaning of Christmas.

Our kids love this. The numbers may fray if touched with the velcro, but otherwise no problems.

This could have been better discribed as a craft kit because many of the velcro dot were not attached to the ornaments. The date numbers are falling off as well.

Not much felt space to velcro things onto, although it is possible to get them all on there. It is a good advent calendar overall

From what I could tell I was very pleased and hope that my grandsons will enjoy it as much as I did in giving it to them.

I loved the idea of the soft sculpture figures but I was disappointed in the quality of the fabric and the intensity of the colors--rather too bold.

The only spots one is able to add pieces are the green areas of the calendar, the spot for baby Jesus, and the five stars at the top. (The stars have felt in the center.) Had the manger and other parts been made of felt too, I would have given this a 4-1/2 or 5-star rating. I found no flaws in the craftsmanship, and it appears to be quite sturdy.
