A friend and I are doing this study together. It works excellently as an independent study, very beneficial and insightful when completing it on my own, but it is also wonderful to discuss when we get together. We have already learned so much. Mrs. Heald is a gifted writer and inspired bible study leader.

Aside from God's Word, this study was the most instrumental book in developing my life perspective when I was still a young believer. Early in my college years, the first time I did the study, I found myself thinking for the first time about why God created me, what his purposes are for us, and how those drive my purpose on this earth. I had never even considered thinking about those things before! Years later, I went through the study a second time with a group of girls from church, and I was still amazed by how critical the lessons in this study are for truly living with purpose. The book is well organized into lessons first on *God's purpose* in creating us, then on *Our purpose* in response to Him, with a final lesson on *My purpose* in response to the Lord. Biblical references drive discussions and content, but also includes great spiritual insights from renowned biblical scholars interspersed throughout the study. A thought-provoking study useful for small-group, discipleship relationships, or personal study.
