This set of 4 hardcover books plus a fifth Index book is exactly what it says it is. Great for a very solid source of ideas as well as many, many sermons and teachings outlined with the main points identified, so you can expand on the points or bring in a personal viewpoint.
I am a lay Sunday school teacher and really enjoy the set. Price was reasonable too.

As a former bivocational pastor I know the value of a resource intended to help the Holy Spirit jump start me on a sermon for God's people. These books are such a resource. They don't give you a sermon already made, but a skeleton that you can flesh out and bring to life in your own unique style. I just bought a set of these for my pastor who is bivocational. I look foword to seeing how God can use these books in his life.

This is a must have collection for any teacher, pastor, or any one looking for fresh insights on the Bible. These commentaries are a great addition to any library.Lots of sermon ideals and Bible study enhancements.

This collection is a good resource for exploring sermon and Bible study ideas. It isn't very good for in depth study, and the outlines are very short and undetailed.
