“Yes, I know, but listen to this,” and off she went to read one funny but pointedly true passage after another.
It’s nice to know that there are other families out there going through the same joys and trials that we face every day. Todd Wilson has a knack for telling funny stories about the homeschool experience. He sympathizes with us dads. But even better, he is able to use his gentle humor to open the eyes and hearts of distracted husbands, so we can better understand and meet the needs of our hard-working wives! Topics include Encouragement, Leadership, Listening, Money, Muscle, Time, Understanding, Approval, Prayer, Sacrifice . . . and in only 85 pages! Funny! Insightful! A must read for all Dad's of Homeschooling Mom's. A quick read, that their sure to enjoy! My Husband laughed and to my surprise....;0)He got it! It's Blessed our whole Family!

This is a very enjoyable and easy to read book. The author's cartoons are hysterically funny. I would recommend this book to others.

Michael Farris's book The Homeschooling Father, which I highly recommend, basically discusses a homeschooling father's relationship with his children. Todd Wilson's book primarily discusses a homeschooling father's relationship with his wife. Since in the majority of families most of the homeschooling is done by the wife and mother, Todd explains not only how dads can be supportive of their wives but also why they should be. Some might think that the "funny bit" is a little overdone, but that will depend on one's sense of humor. Overall, this is a very positive and helpful book for husbands of homeschooling wives.

Todd has captured the heart of what men like to read most, cartoons and short to the point chapters.
The book is funny but holds many of the truths that apply to homeschooling families.
Women who want a more understanding husband will get this book for their man. Remember, cartoons.
Men who want to show their wife how much they appreciate her will get this book (just buying it shows you care and we all win big with that alone). Remember, cartoons, you can do it...you da dad!
