Work...Parenting...Chores...these words can fence in our lives. The demands on our time and energy leave us feeling depleted. How do we foster spiritual growth amid the demands of life?
Confession, solitude, service, studying the Word, praying, simplifying---these are the qualities that foster a flourishing, fruitful garden within our souls. In this book Keri Kent explores how the disciplines of gardening parallel the disciplines of our spiritual lives. As we work with God to create the right conditions in the soil of our souls, growth will follow. And the harvest will be glorious. Contains "digging deeper" questions at the end of each chapter.

I included this book in "Ten Fabulous Gardening Books" in www.positivelyfeminine.org. The author shares good tips, stories about her life and gardening, and writes that like a plant needs water, we need prayer daily.
