Excellent book to teach your child to be assertive in a confusing and politically correct world. Coughlin uses real world examples to teach parents the damage they may be inflicting on their children by teaching them to be nice.

Great book that challenge the average well-meaning parents whose parenting goal is to raise nice, respectful kids. As an education major, I've read scores of books on parenting/education. This book opens my eyes. In the current generation, we need to train kids with convictions; kids who can stand for (and against) things/ideas/people.
