In the Arena continues the life story if Isobel Kuhn, begun in bestselling By Searching. The title refers to the biblical idea that the Christian is on display, like someone condemned to die in the arena. Isobel was convinced that the trials and difficulties of her life as a missionary were "arena experiences," which God used not to punish her but to reveal himself.

I loved this book! The experiences of fellow Christian saints are very enriching and wonderful to read; they makes us reflect on our own experiences and the Lord's working through each one. I definitely recommend reading "In the Arena."

In the Arena is a classic Christian book. It is an autobiography, but is arranged to show how God gives us a platform to witness to the world about Christ through the trials, large and small, that He sends.

Great book. I have read it several times. The lessons and principles you can learn from Isobel Huhns life experience are very practical.

I think this is one of Isobel Kuhn's best books. However, I have not read them all yet -- I didn't know some of these were available! By Searching is a story of how Mrs. Kuhn be came a Christian. It's a great story. Green Leaf in Drought is a story about some missionaries and how the Lord helped them get out of China under the Communists. A touching story and encouraging to Christians going through hard times. This story is my favorite so far. It's about lessons Mrs. Kuhn learned in her Christian life -- but it is exciting reading. I think any Christian young person would find this missionary story interesting and profitable. Thanks for making Mrs. Kuhn's books available CBD!

All of Isobel Kuhn's books are excellent. Not for anyone who is playing at being a Christian. This and "Green Leaf in Drought" are her best. Although she died in 1957, I have always felt as if I know her. Many times God has used her words to teach me a truth that I need to learn.
