The year is 1795, and deep in Burma's jungle hundreds of tribesmen rush to greet a light-skinned stranger. Is he bringing the book their forefathers lost centuries ago---the book that tells about Y'Wa, the Supreme God? With this and 25 more case studies, Richardson shows how God has prepared the way for the gospel by setting ''eternity in the hearts of men.'' 223 pages, paper, from Gospel Light.

I met Don Richardson many years ago after first beginning my career as a missionary. I can attest to the fact that Don is right on! God has put eternity in the hearts of men. I have been making evangelistic films for Asia for years and we make it a point to pray and look closely for God's "fingerprints" in a given culture. Our organization has been working in Asia since 1921 and time and time again we prove out the truths written in this book. If we want to win the world for Christ we must seek the trails that God has already blazed through their culture.

This book answers the question we've all heard before, "But what about the people who have never heard about God?" I found it intriguing and exciting to "discover" the "keys" to understanding the gospel for many native peoples. The Lord has certainly gifted Mr. Richardson with great insights and I was challenged as I asked myself, "Now what are we going to do with this knowledge?".

This book is being studied by Christian students on a regional campus of a state university. Many of the tribal peoples are individually mentioned in a cultural anthropology course at the University. Excellent reading for anyone who feels challenged by what they hear in the secular classroom.

This is an excellent book for anyone who has a heart for missions. I can see this already, and I haven't even finished the first chapter.

A truly intriguing book. Don Richardson has lots of interesting things to say and many a good insight on how God has revealed himself to all mankind.

This book is a real faith builder! Contrary to what the social anthropologists want us to think, remote peoples across the world already know about the "Sky God," the One True God who created everything and is good. They know about the Fall, the Flood, and in many cases, that a Savior would be sent. How can they know these things unless God has placed them in their hearts? This book knocks the secular mindset on his heels. Many of the missionary case studies gave me the chills, in a good way, because God was so obviously at work in the lives of these remote tribes. All in all, a lovely book.

A magnificent chronicle of God's mercy and grace.
It leaves one with a truly "fresh" understanding
of His love and eternal plan for mankind. A real
stretch for the mind and spirit, and one that produces
a greater awe for the God of Creation Who is "a
rewarder of those who diligently seek for Him."
