Excellent book with just enough information on each composer to keep young students interested and older students inspired to investigate things further. I really appreciated that the handouts are unbound and ready to reproduce. Very helpful!

Great series for anyone looking to further their knowledge of the world's greatest composers. My son is home schooled and uses the books as an introduction to classical music. He loves the activity pages and the CD excerpts as well. I bought the 2nd book as well.

This is perfect for our co-op study on the great composers. It has just enough information on the composers, but not too much where it "loses" the child. I really like how each composer also has a worksheet and how we can listen to works of the composers on the CD.
