"Divide, multiply, subtract, bring down" is practiced to help students understand the process as a sequence of steps related to a concrete problem. Various types of long-division problems are discussed, including one-digit divisors, two-digit divisors and a zero in the answer. The rationale for why one cannot divide by zero is explained. Grades 3-7. 30 minutes on DVD.
