Product Description

Grow, Proclaim, Serve! children's church enriches children from preschool to 6th Grade (ages 3 - 12) to grow in faith so that they mature spiritually, proclaim the good news of God's love, and begin serving in His church and your community. Children grow in "leaps and bounds" (2 Thessalonians 1:3) through large group / small group Bible stories, crafts & activities, worship & praise, and weekly video dramas from the slightly zany town of Leaper's Point. The curriculum uses the CEB translation.

Grow, Proclaim, Serve! offers two Large Group / Small Group kits - one for ages 3-6 and another for ages 7 & above. Each kit includes the large group/small group leader's guide, CD-ROM, and DVD for 13 quarterly sessions. The large group/small group curriculum follows the same Bible stories as the Elementary Sunday School which makes it a great combination for Sunday 2nd hour, midweek services, and children's church. Each session is divided into three parts:

Explore Interest Groups: Select from four activities (science, art, game) to offer children as they enter.
Large Group: Transition children to one large group before watching Leaper's Pointe Bible story and learning the memory verse on DVD. This is followed with the worship music video and "Moving with the Bible Story," a re-telling of the Bible story lead by the leader with children following movements and hand motions.
Small Group: Divide children into groups of 10 for younger elementary and older elementary for art activities based on ages. Reproducible pages and instructions are included in the leader's guide.

Summer 2013 Themes:
Unit 1: Making Choices. I choose to follow God. "You, Lord, are all I want! You are my choice." (Psalm 16:5, CEB).
Unit 2: Having Courage. God gives me courage. "Hope in the Lord! Be strong! Let your heart take courage! Hope in the Lord!" (Psalm 24:17, CEB).
Unit 3: Being Friends. Friends love and care for one another. "Friends love all the time." (Proverbs 17:17, CEB).
