The only requirement is a high-speed internet connection; once purchased, a code will be sent that allows an 18-month access period for all schoolwork to be completed, with records available for seven years thereafter.

Prep your homeschool child for GED success with Monarch GED Preparatory Language Arts for grades 9-12! This computer-based, four-unit elective includes tests and quizzes and reinforces the main aspects of communication, including writing, reading, speaking, and listening. The Alpha Omega curriculum examines applicable topics like grammar, punctuation, paragraph structure, multiple writing styles, and methods of organization. In addition, the course includes papers, essays, literature genres, spelling, and language history.

Those familiar with SOS should note that there are differences between the two programs. Monarch does not allow highlighting, customizable curriculum, or advanced customizable-lesson planning options. The Monarch message center, homepage customizations, and resource center are also more limited in their functionality.
