This three (3) week video series dove-tailed nicely into our celebrate recovery programming, allowing us to pause from our weekly lessons to look at a Christmas theme. The DVD study guide reinforced the ideas presented by Rick Warren and was suitable for new or non-Christian groups. The video segments are 25 minutes in length and with discussion the whole study can be completed within an hour.

The DVD and study guide are an excellent small group study at any time of the year. Rick Warren captured our full attention, offered wonderful insight and encouraged us to grow in our faith on the DVD. We watched his three part series in our Sunday school class and everyone believed it had been a worthwhile study.

Excellent Series--for preparing your heart and life for Christmas. We just finished this as a 3 week study---good questions--I would recommend everyone getting the guidebook and the book --there are some good "think about it" questions and a daily prayer calendar for the days leading up to Christmas. This brings you to a deeper look into your heart and relationships. All 3 Purposes were great studies and the book just kept getting better and better. I asked people if they had read the book---and got answers like "how many times?"---they found themselves going back and rereading parts. Christmas can be a very emotionally challenging time for many people, this may not make it easier, but I think they'll feel they are not alone. And isn't that one of the great points of Christmas--Emmanuel--God with Us. You will be blessed by this series.

This lesson was easy to follow and upbeat. It also did a great job of reminding us the true meaning of Christmas. It was a big hit with my Sunday School Class.

Perhaps the best DVD ever from Rick Warren. This is a must buy for all Christians. It's much more than a historical account of Christ's birth. This is a guideline for all who are suffering from doubt and lack of purpose in their lives. Rick Warren says there are three modes of living Survival...Success...Significance. We can only be satisfied when we reach the Significance level and that is only achieved by a relationship with God.
Buy it now and consider using it at a celebration party for Christ. It will be the best present you can give to your friends and family.
