From the publisher: What makes a Baptist a Baptist? What is the shape and feel of Baptist Christianity? Shurden helps us investigate these questions by looking at four basic freedoms long celebrated by Baptists. This book is a great resource for reminding new and current Baptists of our tradition of freedom and faithfulness.

I purchased this book for a Bible study class and it is very informative and very good. The Christianbook service was excellent.

This is a fantastic book. Rather than repeat what has already been clearly written by Herschel Hobbs, E.Y. Mullins and other brilliant Baptists, Shurden reminds Baptists of their responsibility as "free and faithful Baptists" and the legacy of freedom Baptists of the past have stood for.
