Fun read. Needs better editing. The writing seems to be "hurried" and would have been a lot better if written, laid to rest and the author came back and tweaked it more.

Prairie Promises is a unique and intriguing series. If you like western historical fiction, then you will enjoy these stories. The setting is very charming and the stories are humorous and sometimes dramatic. The characters are very likable as well. However, the editing was not done very well and there were quite a few errors. Overall though, this is a good series and you will not be disappointed.
