The Answers Book 4 Teens Vol 1 by Bodie Hodge, Tommy Mitchell, with Ken Ham answers questions that teens may wrestle with. These range from "Who has the most evidence - creationists or evolutionists?" to "Come on, why would God punish the whole world for one guy's mistake?" to "Why would God ever want to save someone as messed up as me?". Throughout the book, there are colorful drawings and pictures.
In the introduction, they give definitions for 16 words including "atheism", "secular humanism", and "creationists". This book could be a helpful resource for teens who are not believers or for new teen believers. For those who have read through the Bible, studied apologetics, etc., I doubt you will learn much from this book.
I was also really surprised that this thin book (95 pages--with illustrations) has a retail price of $14.99. I think it is overpriced. There are better apologetics books out there. However, if you're looking for a quick read, this isn't a bad choice (though I'd recommend trying to buy it on sale).

Appropriate for its audience
This book is based off The Answers Book, which was published over twenty years ago intended to introduce Christians and seekers alike to the concept that the Bible can be trusted. At 208 pages, the original was an easy read in a book-reading culture. But this is an increasingly post-book culture, where attention spans have been shortened to a 140-character tweet or a 160-character text message, it has become harder for teens to handle even that light of a read. So a team of Answers in Genesis writers recently prepared a condensed and briefer version for teens.
It hits the high points of key apologetics questions like how we can know God exists and why God permits evil. It also covers common questions about the authority of Scripture and the authenticity of its creation account. (It's about a 70/30 or 60/40 split with general apologetics / Creation-specific apologetics.)
The book's grunge-influenced graphic design and illustrations are, quite likely, indeed exactly what is cool today. But they're cool today in the same way that mullets or big hair were cool in the '80s. It's the current fad, but undoubtedly today's teens will look back on it in twenty years and say, "I thought that was COOL then?" That said, it's undoubtedly exactly the course the book's graphic designers needed to take to reach their target audience. (The book is targeted more to government school students than home-educated students, particularly in questions 10-12.)
The Answers Book for Teens offers a clear and cogent apologetic for Christianity and for the accuracy of Scriptures in a way appropriate for its audience.

Great Book for Teens
When I received this book I was disappointed when I saw so many illustrations and just a little bit of text. I was very surprised and pleased when I started reading the questions and answers.
Each question was one that many teens have and the answers were very complete and thought provoking. My favorite question was the last one. âÂÂWhy would God ever want to save someone as messed up as me?â It is also the most important question. Many people young and old think that they are unable to come to God. They donâÂÂt realize that that is when God wants us the most.
I highly recommend this book.
Disclosure- I received Answers Book for Teens for free from Master Books. The opinions I have expressed are my own. IâÂÂm disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade CommissionâÂÂs 16 CFR, Part 255.

Got questions? God's got answers!!!
Straight-forward, power-packed book that meets teens right where they are and prepares them for the tough, mind-boggling days ahead.
I was on a good path in my teen years, but I must say, I think I needed more grounding at that time of "why" I believe what I believe. If I had been given a copy of the book AB4T: Answers Book for Teens: Your Questions God's Answers I believe I would have been a bit more prepared for what awaited me on my journey of life and faith. Not that I would have been perfect in my navigation of young life, but I would have been more grounded in the what's and why's of my worldview that God created the world and gave us His Word to guide us as we live in it.
In AB4T, Bodie Hodge, Tommy Mitchell, and Ken Ham pose fifteen common questions asked by people who are seeking to learn the truth about God or even to challenge one who believes in God. These questions are not for the shy at heart. They hit hard to the heart of what our culture questions and struggles with about God and the Bible. They are not just common among young people; I would say they are just as common among believers, doubters, seekers, and skeptics of ANY age.
A couple of the Questions are:
Q2 - If God is really so great, why does He let so much pain and bad stuff happen in the world, like earthquakes, floods, and wars??
Q5 - With everything I hear about God not existing...how can we even know that He does exist?
Q9 - Should people from different races marry each other; or is that wrong?
Q13 - How can we be sure Jesus is the only way to get to God?
Q15 - Why would God ever want to save someone as messed up as me?
The authors use Genesis 1 & 2 as their complete basis for answering these tough but real questions. In their introduction to the book, they explain why they wrote it and specifically why for teens.
"I've worked with teens for years...and there is a big misconception about them (and hopefully you will agree)...they are much smarter than we often think! The young people I've worked with are intelligent and bright.
Yeah, I'll admit, some are smarter in some areas than others...but the point is they are much brighter than people give them credit for. So with this book series, we are not going to be afraid to answer the questions they have without a 'bunch of fluff,' but with solid biblical answers that 'have some meat to them' and challenge the secular religions like atheism and evolution that are forced on them in many settings---like movies, schools, and so on."
~ Bodie Hodge - Answers in Genesis
So, with your interest piqued (I pray), I will wrap up this review by not only letting you know that I suggest getting a copy of this to give to a teen in your life---but I also suggest to read it yourself before giving it away. Teens face and ask the same questions we adults ask (even if only internally). You may just find some solid, foundational, biblical answers to some of the questions you yourself have wrestled with for many years.
Got questions...God's got answers!
