Perfect Women's Bible!!!! I am 25 and I LOVE this! I originally purchased for my mom, since she was asking for a bible for Christmas. The couple of weeks before Christmas I was reading through this, and I decided to go back online and order another for myself! At the price I purchased it at, and all the personal notes it has I couldn't have asked for a better bible to study from!

This is a wonderful version to use when you want to spend some quality time with Bible study (of course, what time, spent in Bible study, is NOT quality time?) The inserted notes with conversations, issues, etc are not overly intrusive and can be used to jog thought or can be passed over if one is really trying to read only the Bible. I especially love the fact that so many women were involved as writers, researchers etc. for this version. The one thing that has continued to be a deep dissatisfaction to me is the way the book is printed with wider margins on the outside of the pages and annoyingly small margins on the inside of the pages. Often the words extend well within the curve back toward the spine. I love books. I don't want to have to wrestle with my book to be able to read the ends of each line (on left hand pages) or the beginnings of each line (on right hand pages.) One's reading cannot flow when one has to keep adjusting the book for every line. There is such a thoughtful collection of articles, wee snippets of crucial background and context information, and questions to get one thinking in this volume that I will continue to refer to it often. I just wish this volume were as much of a physical testament to beauty as it is a spiritual testament to beauty.

I would highly recommend these Bibles. I chose them for my niece's in college. I was especially impressed with the feminine myths that they dispel.

This bible is absolutely wonderful. Honestly it has encouraged my bible reading by being insightful and thought -provoking right alongside of God's word. It takes the bible and adds modern practical applications and issues to learn and understand. It's extras are truly helpful, and I am getting good use out of the reading plans. The only reason I did not give it four stars is because I would love it if the font was larger. Other than that, the publisher nailed it for women in my demographic. I liked it so much I bought my husband Strive, the apparent men's version of it.

I love this bible. I would have preferred the softcover but could not find it. I have given this bible as gifts with much success.

Great Bible. I got it as a mother's day gift for my mom and she loved it.

I am in love with my new bible! I am addicted to the "Ask Me" sections. I wish there were more. I don't know a lot of the stories of these women, so I read their questions and answers and then read about them in the bible text. I just love it! I love the insight to topics about in-laws and finances...I love the advice!

a Beautiful Bible, full of information for a young woman to discover herself and her place in His kingdom.
