101 Bible Stories from Creation to Revelation brings together 101 of the most well-known and beloved Bible stories. Written for young independent readers and with colorful artwork, this storybook Bible is sure to become a favorite. Each story is one page in length and features a picture depicting the main character or event of the story.
Both story and artwork can also provide perfect springboards for further family or child and parent discussion of the rest of the story and its impact on our faith.

The stories are from Genesis to Revelations in chronological order, and is divided into the old testament and the new testament. With thick, glossy pages, one side contains the story and the other a corresponding illustration. The illustrations are less cartoony than a lot of kids' Bible books so it might appeal to the kids a little longer.
I homeschool and the first thing the kids do as schoolwork in the morning is read from the Bible and journal about it and this is perfect for my 7 year old to read independently.
NanceeGrand Rapids, MichiganAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Well Done!March 30, 2014NanceeGrand Rapids, MichiganAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5101 well-known and popular Bible stories are featured in this Bible intended for early elementary age children. Parents will need to read these stories to younger children, but older children who are independent readers will enjoy reading these stories on their own. Each story is based on a well-known scripture, and with characters that are or will become familiar to the child. The Bible story is on one page and a beautifully illustrated picture on the facing page. It is just enough reading for a child to learn a lesson from the Bible without becoming overwhelmed with too much information.
This is one of the best children's Bibles I've come across. Each of the stories is focused and told with a refreshing and positive approach. I enjoyed reading through this Bible myself, and I'm sure that families of young children will find this to be a wonderful tool in teaching the Old and New Testaments to their children. I highly recommend 101 Bible Stories from Creation to Revelation!

CherylProspect,KYAge: 45-54Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5101 Bible StoriesMarch 19, 2014CherylProspect,KYAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4From creation to Revelation, 101 Bible Stories takes some of the most well known and loved stories from the Bible (with scripture references if you want to read the story in its entirety within context) and puts them into an easy to read and understand format for children with some beautifully created and detailed illustrations by Dan Andreasen. The text is designed to be read by children who are independent readers with my recommendation starting at about 2nd or 3rd grade due to the complexity of some of the wording. However, each story is just one page or a bit more so could effectively be used with both readers and a read aloud to non-readers alike.
I can still see the book my mother read to my little sister every single night before bed. I feel strongly that every child should have the tools to discover God's Word for themselves. I am torn about the format of the book's appearance looking more like one that I would read to a non-reader and yet the publisher is advertising it to be designed for independent readers. I would encourage you to look at the book yourself to determine if your reader child would think it looks too much like a younger children's book but I would definitely use it as a read aloud bedtime story resource.
I did receive the book free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review and was in no way obligated to leave a positive review.

Each couple pages is a single story accompanied by a beautiful picture. This children's reader is filled with all of the most wonderful stories from the scriptures from the creation in the garden to Paul's missionary shipwreck to the return of Jesus one day.
This would make a terrific gift for your child or grandchild. Beautiful book!
