ChristianBook eBooks on the Sony Reader
To read a Christianbook.com licensed eBook on your Sony device, you will need to use Adobe Digital Editions.
Without using ADE, the Sony Reader will attempt to open eBooks with its own software, the Reader Library, and you may receive an error message.
To bypass the Sony Reader Library, return to the eBook portion of 'My Account' on our site, and click to download the eBook again.
When the Adobe Digital Editions installer comes up, click on 'Download Item.'
If you are downloading a DRM Protected eBook, you will be prompted to open or save the URLLINK.acsm. Click 'Save'.
Save the file to your Desktop for quick access later.
Right-click on the URLLINK file, then select 'Open With' and choose Adobe Digital Editions.
If Adobe Digital Editions is not in the list, click 'Choose Default Program' and then select Adobe Digital Editions from the list.
Your eBook will open and display in ADE.
Plug in your Sony Reader, which will now display its model number and not just as Sony Reader.
Now just click, drag and drop your eBook onto the Sony Reader icon.
You can now eject your Sony Reader, open up the Books library and your eBook is ready to read.

Bob Buford believes the second half of your life can be better than the first. Much better. But first, you need time to figure out what you want to do with the rest of your life. So he recommends that a reader call "halftime" to reflect not only on where hes going, but why. In Halftime, Buford focuses on this important time of transition--the time when, as he says, a person moves beyond the first half of the game of life. Its halftime, a time of revitalization and for catching new vision for living the second, most rewarding half of life. As Buford explains, "My passion is to multiply all that God has given me, and in the process, give it back." That requires asking important questions: What am I really good at? What do I want to do? What is most important to me? What do I want to be remembered for? If my life were absolutely perfect, what would it look like? Buford fills Halftime with a blend of personal insight, true-life examples, and quotes from those who have successfully navigated the exhilarating and potentially dangerous shoals of midlife. Complete with a discussion guide, Halftime provides the encouragement and wisdom to propel your life on a new course away from mere success to true significance--and the best years of your life.
Bob Buford is an entrepreneur that grew a successful cable television company in the first half of his life. In his second half, Buford founded Halftime, an organization designed to inspire business and professional leaders to embrace God's calling and move from success to significance. Rieber5 Stars Out Of 5Hit's the MarkMarch 1, 2015RieberQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Halftime is a great book that hits the mark for me and many professionals with whom I associate. I find that many of my friends in senior roles in the corporate world are frustrated. The scramble to the "top" in the corporate sense is often painful and always consuming. Many of us, without realizing it lose the balance between God, family, work, and the personal aspects of our lives. The result is frustration, stress, often broken families, and an emptiness plagued by the question, "What am I missing?". Bob Buford has been there and come through to the other side to a life of significance (and success). In his book, he provides an insightful understanding of the root of the problem that is enlightening to many of us, provides a roadmap for thinking through what God has created each of us to do, and provides inspiration to move on to significance in the second half. I've given away a couple dozen copies to friends and associates already. I'm looking forward to participating in a launch event in April.
