This is a great book. I got it when my nephew passed away and we were all trying to answer the question about why God didn't intervene when so many of us were praying for his healing. There is NO unbelief in this book. Its written in an easy understood language and its writer covers all the bases. I highly recommend it to anyone who is curious or searching for answers to questions about prayer.

This book, like Jerry's others, is an honest, Scripture-based look at the questions that many Christians have regarding our requests and God's answers. Scripture demonstrates to us on more than one occasion that there are times when God chooses to say "no" to that which we ask. He loves us fully, and He knows what is best for us and what is in allignment with His will. Jerry Sittser helps us recognize that prayer is about strengthening our relationship with God. I highly recommend this book!

Don't waste your money on this book, It's very unhelpful & full of infractual errors. Remember in God's word his promises are yes & amen to those that believe.
