Sometimes hope lies somewhere in the shades of blue!

Brad Cutler, twenty-eight, is a rising star at his New York ad agency, about to marry the girl of his dreams. Anyone would agree he has it all ? a great career, a beautiful and loving fiancee, and a fairy tale life ahead of him?when memories of a high school girlfriend begin to torment him.

Lost innocence and one very difficult choice flood his conscience, and he is no longer sure what the future will bring except for this: He must find his old love and make amends. Haunted by the past and confused about the future, he turns to God seeking forgiveness and redemption.

I always love Karen Kingsbury, she has such a way with Christian fiction, I haven't finished the book (won't be long now), but I'm sure I will be very satisfied as I have with all her writings.

Well, I liked this book and as usual it made me cry at some point. If you haven't had to deal with someone in this situation or you yourself have not been in this situation, you may not be able to identify with the story. It was a good read and very accurate in emotions.

All of Karen's books are excellent, but this one has to be her very best!

A great read, just like all of Karen's books. She deals with every day problems. I reccomend this book.

I loved the message of this book -so much more than the "sexual sin" another reviewer wrote about. My own life was devastated by abortions chosen by family members and getting to the point of forgiveness was as hard or harder than experienced by the characters in this book. How quick we are to judge others and consider ourselves more righteous than another because we haven't fallen prey to a particualr sin. What a moving story to be reminded that we can move beyond past hurts through the forgiveness offered by Our Savior. Thank you for another awesome book, Karen!

This book made me a believer in Karen's writing. I had only read One Tuesday Morning and Beyond Tuesday Morning thus far. I generally prefer historical or Amish fiction, but the subject matter intrigued me. She handles it beautifully, compassionately, and honestly. I cried both sad and happy tears. I felt that the lead character, Brad Cutler, had a real relationship with the Lord as did his fiance. Highly recommended reading for young adult girls as it shows so well the dangers of emotional and physical entanglement before marriage!

Again God has used Karen Kingsbury to express so many truths, thank you. There are so many times in life when we make choices that come back to haught us later in life. And it is only when we turn to God for forgiveness and redemption that we can go forward without the past dragging us down.
