I do not have room to hold the type of library I would love to have. Nor do I have an education in the Biblical languages. The NIDNTT allows me delve into the Greek through its subject index and it's Strongs-to-Goodrich-Kohlenberger indexs. I recommend this tool to every person involved in full time Christian ministry.
Paul5 Stars Out Of 5March 25, 2010PaulThis volume is indispensable for doing my masters thesis. It is through and organized much better than the unabridged version.
Linn Degennaro4 Stars Out Of 5March 27, 2009Linn DegennaroSo far (I've only used this resource for a week or so) it's been very helpful. It reviews Old and New Testament uses of the word, and it appears to be complete. Some of the entries lend toward the devotional (this is a plus in my opinion). It's very useful for someone who is not a student of Greek.
Westgate Christian Church5 Stars Out Of 5October 15, 2008Westgate Christian ChurchVery useful and effective tool for bible study, preaching, and teaching. It would be a good book for every Bible College student to have especially those studying biblical Greek as part of their degree program. It helps to clarify word usage and importance.
Steve5 Stars Out Of 5May 19, 2007SteveI find myself in complete agreement with the earlier review above by David Kilpatrick. In addition to what he wrote, I would include that those of us who do not have a very good grasp of NT Greek, will find that this book is very helpful. The depth it can add to your Bible study is enormous. Understanding the original meaning of the passage you are studying is the first step in being able to apply he text to our contemporary life and culture.
