Cyril Barber evaluates strengths and weaknesses of both current and older books and has designated with an asterisk those books especially pertinent for the evangelical pastor.

Having owned over 30,000 volumes and still reading some 3-6 books a week, I have found the evaluations in this Volume to be incredibly helpful. Nearly every beginning Bible Student can build a solid library from it. Nearly every experienced one can continue building their library and easily organize it also. From a bibliographic standpoint this is nearly as good as having a degree in Library Science and having 30 years experience in the Library as a College Professor. Thank you Cyril Barber!
