I ordered these books for extras to give to friends. They are extremely helpful for those who want to seriously know how to dig in the Word. It is particularly helpful if you are thinking about taking a Precept Upon Precept Bible study class.

I bought this book for my husband who is getting ready to teach a Bible study for youth who are past the 'new believer' stage and interested in going deeper. He was looking for something that would explain a method for Bible study in a language that an interested youth would be able to understand. He opened the book, leafed through, went immediately to read it cover to cover and then said, "That's exactly what I wanted!"
I've used the older version of the book a few years ago for my own Bible study and found it very useful as well.

What a confusing mess, sure it might be easy for folks doing a group environment where you might be able to figure out what they mean. Learning how to study the bible should be made easy w/out having to code all pro-nouns and synonems etc. You need a English degree to figure out her way and you need their study bible to go along with this. Not worth a penny to me I don't recomend this to anyone, I suggest bible study workboods they come in all books of the bible and all subjects they are worth every penny.

I have used Kay Arthur's book, How To Study Your Bible, for the past twenty years as I have taught others to study inductively. This book is the best on the market for teaching the child of God how to dig out the truth of God's Word through inductive skills of Observation, Interpretation, and Application. Thank you for the chance to express my opinion.
