Recently our church began reading through the bible in a year together. This has been an exciting supplement to daily time in the Word. The sound effects and background music have brought the Word alive in a different way for us and been a great addition to bedtime prayers. We love it!

We are really enjoying listening to these DVD's. At this point we're in the middle of Numbers, and finding it very interesting. There are lots of little things that we never noticed were in scripture beforehand, and often pull out our Bibles afterwards to find it. Leave the tv off - dive into God's word.

Nothing takes the place of reading but listening to these CD's makes the Bible come alive & you feel you are in the midst of what is happening. Excellent compilation & highly recommended.

I received this product today. What a great way to present the Word of God. I have always wanted to know how the voices were in scripture. When you read the words only you don't know what the characters are feeling or presenting. But when it is presented the way this is, it brings the holy scriptures to life. My Father and I listen to the first Genesis disk and later today I listened to thirteen chapters of the Revelation. If you use a surround system the effects are great.
I also previewed the video. I think it is good. I may try the 40 days of promise program with my dad. I can order the guides and dvd here at cbd. A great buy and great learning experience. I was going to order it from the tv and search cbd. Why pay 125 when I paid 70. A great savings, thanks cbd!!
