I got this for my 6 year old son. He really loves it and enjoys looking at it. He often tells people he is thnakful for hi Bible.

I bought this Bible for my first-grader. He wanted his own Bible, and I wanted him to have one that was the full word of God, and not a Bible story book. This Bible has larger text, so it is easier for him to read, although the reading level is still above him in many parts, because it is the actual text. He was delighted with the extras, like maps and a prayer journal. He is very proud to call this Bible his own.
If I were to change something, I would remove the red letters. All of it is the Word of God. What Christ spoke while in the flesh isn't any more important than what He spoke as the Word before He became incarnate, nor what was spoken through the Holy Spirit.

A great first Bible for those kids ready to graduate from a 'kiddy' Bible. I am thankful for the reading guides in the front that give suggested passages for one month or three month schedules. I am using them in my own devotion times!

I got this Bible for my grandson, who is eight. It is perfect for his age and has so many features that he enjoys exploring. He especially likes the check-off lists of people of the Old and New Testaments. He reads the passages and checks them off. It has several check-off lists and he likes to see his progress. He now reads his Bible on his own and is finding his way around in it much better. I love it!

A really well set out Bible. The wide variety of reading plans and study guides are very useful. My new reader just loves this Bible. However, as the paper is so thin, text shows through a little on the other side, making the text not quite so easy for her to read. Overall, I think this is a great Bible for all children.

We gave this Bible to our 6 year old granddaughter. She hasn't been taken to church much in her life. The first night she had the Bible, she wanted me to read to her out of it. Very pleased with the Bible.

Very nice bible. It's great for my 7&8 year old children. They like the color inserts and they can carry their own bible to church now.
