Matthew Henry Commentary explain the bible very well. A layman can understane it. I love how he use scriptures upon scripture to help me understand Gods' word. I gave one to my sister, and I will buy me another one. This commentary is the whole bible, from Genesis to Revelation explaining every chapter and every verse. I love it.

Matthew Henry has always been a favorite resource. I like this edition and I have shared it as a gift for special occassions. Highly recommend for anyone new to the minstry and other laypersons; very user friendly and the price is great!

I like this because it is the entire Bible in one book. Great resource if you don't have a library of Bible references.

I was very impressed with Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary of the Whole Bible. First with the price, then with the contents. Or maybe the other way around. I am so excited to have such a book for my Bible studies and Sunday School lessons that will cover any lesson in the bible. I noticed that it is not just technical details about a passage, but it includes application as well. That is a real plus.

Have given away several copies of the old version of Matthew Henry, so decided I too needed one and this one is excellent. Print is not too small and it's in modern English. Good reference and devotional book.
