This is actually more stunning in person than you can imagine...really is gut wrenching to think of it as a reminder of what Christmas is all about and how HE gave for us. Nicely gift boxed for gift giving. Recommended for all ages.

I have ordered many of these nails over the years -- my own family has one and it is the most important ornament we put on our tree. I can only give 4 out of 5 stars because the new nails I purchased do not have the same story as our original. Fortunately, I can copy the story of how the Christmas nail originated, but new purchasers will get "The Silver Season" story with their nail, not the touching story about the couple from Colorado. The original story also explains why the nail is hidden, "obscured just as Jesus had been obscured among the trappings of the stable and its animals." I'm disappointed for those that miss out on the original.

I was very much pleased with the Christmas nail. I purchased this one for our Pasor and believe he will be moved by it and very much appreciative. I purchased one for our own family a couple of years ago and it is a very cherished and original part of our Christmas tradition, now. I absolutely love this! I bought 2 to give as a Christmas gift and one for myself. The only thing that I have a question about is why do you want to hang it on your tree where no one else will see? It states its for the family not for the on lookers of your tree? I'm proud of this ornament, so I hung it towards the front to let everyone see it and ask me questions about it!
