What a beautiful story of God's gift to us. This is just what I wanted my granddaughter to hear about God. He loved us so much that He gave the only gift we need, Jesus. The author captured the true story of Jesus. Thank you for the wonderful message of Christ. Jesus is the reason for the season.

I was delighted to see how Bergren kept Jesus the main focus of Christmas. Every aspect of the holiday went back to Jesus. For those who use Santa as part of their Christmas celebration, Bergren didn't dismiss the character but explained the "Santa Clause reminds us about many good things like generosity and care. But it is God and Jesus that we celebrate most come Christmas." This book as been added to the ABC Jesus Loves Me free preschool curriculum as a must read for Christmas.

Helps take the focus off of material gifts and direct it back to the reason we celebrate Christmas in the first place. A positive reinforcement year-round.

It's a very nice book. I'm going to give it to my grandsons who are almost 5 and almost 8, for Christmas. I think it will be perfect for them. The little one thought that Santa made it snow. I can't wait to read it to them. I think it will bring up a lot of questions which I will be so happy to answer.
