This collection of musings on faith, mercy, grace, and hope will have you pondering deep and laughing hard. Enjoy theology dressed in blue jeans and flip-flops for everyday wear!
The Just-Right Shade of Grace Hmmm....Kissable Kiwi or Fire Engine Red? To evangelize your family by training your bird to speak Scripture, or stick with the usual "Polly, want a cracker?" To hold your child tight like you desperately want to, or let him go like he so needs? Every woman grapples with issues of faith and intangibles like mercy, grace, and hope. But few can dress theology in blue jeans and flip-flops like Nancy Kennedy. A collection of her weekly columns for the Citrus County Chronicle in Florida , Lipstick Grace contains many musings, not all of which wrap up in nice, neat packages...because the important things in life seldom do. Along the way, you'll find the sufficiency and abounding grace of God holding you steady - big enough for all of you, your deepest doubts, and your garbage cans full of all the wrong shades of lipstick.

Nancy Kennedy is, as always, an amazing author. Once again she has proven that you can get the Good News across with humor. Being divided up into small segments, this is definitely an easy read with many meaningful areas of interest for everyone.
I'd love to find "Help I'm Being Intimidated By The Proverbs 31 Woman". I loaned my copy to my pastor's wife and she wanted to get every woman in the church a copy!!! It's one of Mrs. Kennedy's best works, in my opinion.

Downright funny and right on! Nancy Kennedy's writing has always been funny, poignant, and convicting all at once. She confesses her own sins with openness and humor, leaving us to laugh at ourselves as we relate. This book is just what we all need when we begin to drift a bit in our walk, when we need someone to laugh with us at our all-too-common foibles, or when we need to be reminded how great God is. She's a collectible! And this is one of her best.
