It's a nice devotional - however, I think it's targeted at a bit younger age group than my early teenagers.

We just got this book and used it for the first time (Plain Ol' Vanilla). Without any preparation, other than flipping through the book a few minutes after getting, we had a great conversation with our 8 and 5 year old. It was insightful to hear the children's thoughts and was a great guide to some of the best mealtime conversation we've had.
These can also be used for children activities in small groups.
Highly recommend this for families with children of all ages. It is truly written so anyone of any age can participate.

I love this book. It has really helped open up discussions around the table with the kids. They are the first ones now to open it up and want to do it.

I have used this book at dinner over the years and my kids loved it when they were young, and now as they are entering the preteen years it's the only way to get them to open up at dinner time. It's so easy to use, no planning, or preparing, and it's like a mini devotional. Our family has tried devotionals in the past, and have never been able to stick to them. But this is perfect because it's centered around dinner.
