Making Math Meaningful Level 3

Making Math Meaningful was written by a homeschooling father for his children; it treats children as more than mere calculators or computers, but rather teaches them why learning math is important. Filled with more information than just rote memorization, children will learn to reason, to understand math concepts and to think mathematically. Level 3 studies place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, investigating problems and more. Student book is non-reproducible, 211 pages, softcover. Teacher book is 120 pages, softcover and contains teaching activities and answers.

I LOVE this program. I've been homeschooling for over 12 years and have used many products but I always return to Making Math Meaningful. I love the dialog that is included in the Parent/Teacher Edition. It takes the guess work out of "how do I teach this?" as with so many other programs. It truly makes Math meaningful for students and parents.

I am really liking this program. My daughter is not math minding, nor am I. It is helping us both. We took a few steps back just to further understand the "why" of thiings. So we are moving through the program fairly quickly.
